Here's some important information about your headshot photoshoot!


***Please read all the info carefully. Most, if not all your questions can be answered in this email***


COVID-19 INFO: During the shoot, I will have on a mask. All props, and commonly touched surfaces have been cleaned and sanitized. You do not need to wear a mask, as it will just be me in the space we're shooting in and we want to avoid any harsh lines on your face. I will continue to monitor and adhere to LA social distancing guidelines for everyone’s safety. Any guest/makeup artist/stylist must wear a mask.

ABOUT THE SHOOT:

We are absolutely in no rush; I want to make sure we get plenty of workable options for you! We will be shooting in "Natural Light" at my home studio in Sherman Oaks.  (If you have time constraints and or limitations - please let me know)

WHAT TO BRING:

We may have already discussed wardrobe, but these are some good guidelines to follow.

  • Please bring a variety of options. Ironed shirts in "Jewel Tones", Deep colors, Bright and lively colors. Flannel Shirts, "Layer-able" clothes like Hoodies, Jackets, Vest, Tie etc.. White shirts can be used as a base shirt for a layered look. One Pair of Jeans, Denim and slacks should be fine. We will not be shooting full body images, so shoes are not important. Ladies: Make sure you have the right bra(s) for the type of shirts you will be wearing.

  • Think about the type of roles you may go out for and try to bring options that speak to that. What’s your type? If you're going for a very specific look, bring options to reflect those characters. If your character type lives on a certain tv show or movie. Look at what they're wearing. The goal is to not copy exactly what they wear, but to get an idea, based on the wardrobe you currently own or are planning to purchase for the shoot. Don't be afraid to bring as many options as you'd like. I have a variety of prop glasses to choose from.

Try to avoid a lot of solid white, pale colors, large logos, and flow-y and loose fitting shirts


  • Bring water! Want Music? I'll provide the speakers!! (if you want some tunes during your shoot).

  • You can also bring someone with you!! Just let me know in advance. They must also wear a mask per COVID-19 Guidelines.


HAIR / MAKE- UP:

Forgot to mention you needed a MUA??? Let me know ASAP and I'll book one for you. 

MUA/HAIR fees are paid directly to MUA price range $150 For the 1st Two Looks/Changes and $25 For Each additional looks/changes

You are welcome to bring your own MUA!! If you're doing your own hair/makeup on the shoot, please come camera ready or "almost ready". There is a well-lit vanity/mirror area for touch ups.


Guys: I can provide/apply complementary base coverage, powder, shine control. Available upon request. You can also bring your own hair/MUA



CANCELLATIONS / RESCHEDULING / WEATHER:

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know as soon as possible. Deposits for canceled shoots will be returned within 30 days of shoot date. There are those few days in Southern California when it decides to rain, I will monitor the weather leading up to our shoot date, and communicate with you accordingly. Weather related cancellation/rescheduling are rare, but... 'ya never know'

  • “No shows” without notice for scheduled appointments will automatically forfeit the deposit.


AFTER THE SHOOT:

Within 3-5 days -- I will send over high resolution, unedited/processed proofs in a user friendly photo gallery via Pixieset.
